Event Information:
The Houw Hoek Tour (originally the Wines2Whales Tour) is how we started a very successful MTB experience. The focus of the HH Tour is recreational and therefore no timing is done. This allows riders to have more fun and more time to appreciate stunning views and a good time with friends. The HH Tour is an excellent opportunity to experience MTB stage race and the routes are similar to Stage 2 & 3 of the Wines2Whales events, although its shorter (55km vs. 75km) and easier. You enter in a Fast/ Medium/ Slow category and will be supported by MTB Guides, who can assist you during the Tour. The HH Tour is staged at the oldest Inn in SA; the charming Houw Hoek Inn, in the sleepy and scenic Poespas Valley, in Elgin.
